Richard Warden (Managing Director of Helionova Limited) imported his first batch of sixty sunbeds in July 1977. Two months later he had 58 left!
While attending The International Sports and Leisure Exhibition in September 1977 the programme "Pebble Mill at One" picked up the sunbed as a news story and the rest, as they say - is history.
It was in 1983 that Richard met Willem Fabels the Managing Director of Ultrasun BV of Holland and from that meeting a very meaningful and fruitful relationship started.
